The latest: Ariana Grande, 25, said Tuesday in response to a fan’s social media post from an entertainment outlet teasing, ‘Who is Ariana dating NOW?!’ She replied, ‘spoiler for the rest of this year/ probably my life: it’s no one. please refer back to this tweet for future questions’
Grande, whose respective relationships with the late Mac Miller and Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson dominated entertainment headlines throughout 2018, posted a second response suggesting she was going to be staying single for the duration of 2019.
The Dangerous Woman beauty wrote: ‘spoiler for the rest of this year/ probably my life: it’s no one. please refer back to this tweet for future questions.’
Grande seemed to be relieved to put the year in her rear-view mirror, particularly in her love life, as she wrote, ‘Farewell 2018, you f***’ in a New Year’s Eve Instagram post.
She split with rapper Mac Miller in May after two years together, about four months ahead of his September 8 overdose at 26 from alcohol, cocaine and fentanyl.

Grande has posted a series of memorials to the late rapper, most recently on Sunday, when she posted a clip of Miller playing a piano before pulling down the post.
Shortly after Miller’s death, Grande said of her ex on social media: ‘I adored you from the day I met you when i was nineteen and I always will. I can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. I really can’t wrap my head around it. We talked about this. so many times. I’m so mad, I’m so sad I don’t know what to do. You were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else.’
Her relationship with Davidson, which included a brief engagement, ended this past October.
Davidson’s behavior evoked concerns last month when he wrote in an Instagram post on December 15 that he didn’t ‘want to be on this earth anymore,’ adding, ‘I’m doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don’t know how much longer i can last. all i’ve ever tried to do was help people. just remember i told you so.’
The Staten Island native took a step forward Monday with his first onstage performances since the troubling statement, taking to the stage for two shows in Massachusetts to finish his tumultuous year.

Ariana was more lighthearted as she took to Instagram Stories Tuesday with a brief clip in which she took Myron – Miller’s dog she took in after his death – out for a walk.
